P90-X The Fit Test

Today I'm doing the "Fit Test" from P90-X. It's supposed to find out if I'm fit enough to even attempt this extreme intense 90-day workout routine. I have to meet these minimum requirements (for a guy):

  1. 3 pull-ups

  2. Vertical leap of 5 inches

  3. 15 push-ups

  4. Sit-n'-reach at least 6 inches

  5. Do a wall-squat for at least 1 minute

  6. 10 bicep curls with 20lbs

  7. 25 In-&-Outs (seated postion crunches)

  8. 2 Minutes of jumping jacks followed by 30 sec. sprinting

If I can meet these 8 minimums, then I supposedly am ready (fit enough) to attempt the P90-X workout routine. Let me go try!

Well, I passed the minimum requirements. Let me just say. WOW. I didn't realize how out of shape I really was. My legs are pathetic. I did the wall-squats for the minimum of 1 minute and it killed me. I'm in for a beatin'.

Since I'm sort of starting today... I will go ahead and put what I've eaten for record sake. Today is considered "Day 0" more or less. Tomorrow will be "Day 1."

MEALS

  • Breakfast - 2 pieces of butter toast (can't believe it's not butter spray) - one with cheese. A bottle of water.

  • Lunch - 2 pieces of butter toast. 1 Serving of mash potatoes. 1 glass of 1% milk.

  • Dinner - Pizza Inn Buffet (I know... bad. This was my last day as a "free man.")
